Custom Requests

Yes! We service custom orders and special requests. Email or call me at 949-633-4647 to discuss the specifics of the customization.

Include pictures, sketches and other details that pertain to the request so I can accurately quote the custom build.

Please note that there is usually an up-charge for any changes made to one of my original design.

What Is Your Lead Time?

In general, my lead-time always varies depending on my workload at the time your order is placed. Please remember this is a one-man operation and it takes time to build each piece. A general lead time is usually around 10-12 weeks.

What Finish Is Used?

Only a natural oil finish is applied to bring out the organic beauty of the wood.  There are no colored stains applied and wood can’t be darkened or lightened.

What Kind of Wood Do You Use?

Even though most of my pieces are made out of walnut I can and do use many other species.

Some examples maple, birch, white oak, mahagony. Please contact if you are interested in something else.

General Care Guidelines

DO NOT USE:

  • Chemicals
  • Detergents
  • Scrub Sponges
  • Steel Wool

Using the above products can severly damage and discolor the surface.

To remove dust use a clean microfiber cloth or feather duster.  Rub in the direction of the grain for best result.

Quickly clean up any spills. Liquids will damage the wood and always use coasters.

How Do I Place an Order?

To place an order, contact me via email  Patrick@MonkeHaus.com or call me directly  949-633-4647.

Once details are finalized I will email you an invoice.

How Do I Pay For My Order?

I accept payment by PayPal or check. All orders must be paid in full when placed. Shipping cost can either be paid when placing your order or when your order is about to be shipped.

Return & Exchange Policy

Due to the custom, made-to-order nature of my work, returns will not be accepted once your order is placed. This implies that cancellations are not permitted and exchanges are not accepted. I try my best to ensure that you receive your order in good condition and with the required quality.

Shipping Policy

Most orders are shipped via a freight company while smaller pieces are shipped through FedEx. The shipping costs listed cater for the lower 48 states. Each piece is protected in transit with a custom wood crate. It is also insured.

Most of the California orders will be delivered through white glove delivery by one of our shipping parties.

Local Pick up is also available.

New York residents should contact me before placing their orders due to the surcharge that is associated with some areas.

You will be alerted via email with instructions on how to receive your order once it has been shipped.

Do I Pay Sales Tax?

Yes. Sales tax is only applicable to California residents. Taxes that reflect on your order are approximates. The actual taxes debited from your credit card will reflect the applicable state and the local sales tax.
